Seller Compliance Terms

Important: As a seller on SASS-Y, you are solely responsible for maintaining valid licenses and certificates. Failure to comply may result in immediate account suspension.
1. Overview
These Seller Compliance Terms ("Compliance Terms") outline your obligations regarding identity verification, health certificates, business licenses, and ongoing compliance requirements. By registering as a seller on SASS-Y, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.
2. Mandatory ID Verification
All sellers must complete mandatory identity verification before listing any services:
Government-Issued Photo ID
You must provide a valid passport, national ID card, or driving licence. The document must be unexpired and clearly show your photo, full legal name, and date of birth.
Face ID Match (Biometric Verification)
You must complete a live selfie verification that matches your ID photo. This includes:
- Live selfie capture with liveness detection
- AI-powered face matching against your ID document
- Deepfake and manipulation detection
- Minimum 95% match score required
Re-verification: We may require re-verification at any time if we suspect identity fraud, if your ID document expires, or as part of routine security audits.
3. Health Certificate Requirements
All sellers providing in-person services must maintain a valid health certificate. The renewal frequency depends on your age:
6-Month Renewal Cycle
If you are under 21 years old, you must renew your health certificate every 6 months. This ensures more frequent health monitoring for younger sellers.
12-Month Renewal Cycle
If you are 21 years or older, you must renew your health certificate every 12 months.
Health Certificate Requirements:
- Must be issued by a licensed medical professional or clinic
- Must include STI screening results
- Must be dated within the applicable renewal period
- Must clearly identify you as the patient
- Original documents or certified copies only - no self-declarations
4. Business License Requirements
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be required to hold a valid business license or trade registration. SASS-Y performs automated checks against local business registries to verify your license status.
Supported Business Registries
Registry Verification Process:
- Upon uploading your business license, we verify it against the relevant registry
- Automated checks are performed monthly to ensure continued validity
- If your registration lapses or is dissolved, your account will be flagged immediately
- You must notify us within 7 days of any changes to your business registration status
5. Dashboard Warning System
SASS-Y operates a comprehensive warning system to help you maintain compliance. You will receive notifications through multiple channels when your documents are approaching expiry:

Important: While we provide these reminders as a courtesy, you are solely responsible for ensuring your documents remain valid. Technical issues with our notification system do not excuse non-compliance.
6. Your Responsibilities
By accepting these Compliance Terms, you acknowledge and agree that:
6.1. You are solely responsible for maintaining valid ID documents, health certificates, and business licenses at all times while operating on SASS-Y.
6.2. You must upload renewal documents before your current documents expire, not after.
6.3. You must notify SASS-Y within 48 hours of any material changes to your compliance status, including revocation, suspension, or expiry of any required document.
6.4. You understand that operating with expired documents constitutes a serious breach of these terms and may result in permanent account termination.
6.5. You consent to automated verification checks against business registries and understand that failed checks will affect your compliance status.
6.6. You agree that SASS-Y may share your compliance status with relevant authorities if required by law or in response to legal process.
7. Audit Logging
SASS-Y maintains comprehensive audit logs of all compliance-related activities. These logs record:
- When verification checks are performed and their results
- When documents are uploaded, updated, or expire
- When reminders are sent and acknowledged
- When compliance status changes occur
- When business registry checks are performed
- IP addresses and timestamps for all compliance-related actions
These logs are retained for a minimum of 7 years and may be provided to regulatory authorities upon lawful request. You can view your own audit log in your Compliance Dashboard.
8. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Failure to maintain compliance will result in the following actions:

Appeals: If you believe your compliance status was incorrectly determined, you may submit an appeal to compliance@sassy.com within 7 days of enforcement action.
Acceptance of Compliance Terms
By clicking "Accept" or by continuing to use SASS-Y as a seller, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Seller Compliance Terms. You acknowledge that compliance with these terms is mandatory and non-negotiable.
