Our Response Process
- Receipt: We acknowledge receipt of valid DMCA notices within 24 hours.
- Review: Our team reviews the notice for completeness and validity.
- Action: If valid, we promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notification: We notify the user who posted the material of the takedown.
- Counter-Notice: The user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was in error.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent with:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will provide a copy to the original complainant. If we do not receive notice of a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content.
False Claims Warning
Important:Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Consider consulting with an attorney before submitting a notice.
Repeat Infringers
SASS-Y maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We consider:
- The number of valid DMCA notices received against the user
- Whether the user has submitted valid counter-notices
- Any other relevant factors indicating a pattern of infringement
Generally, users who receive three valid DMCA takedowns without successful counter-notices will have their accounts permanently terminated.
Content Protection
We implement technical measures to protect content on our platform:
- Forensic Watermarking: All media is watermarked to trace unauthorized distribution
- Screenshot Detection: Users are notified when their content is screenshotted
- Right-Click Protection: Basic protections against easy downloading
- Access Controls: Content is only accessible to authorized purchasers
If you discover your content being distributed without authorization (even with watermarks removed), please notify us immediately.
